An incident becomes critical when it goes beyond the normal coping mechanisms of the leaders. This document sets out good practice for visit and activity leaders in the management of critical incidents.
Ensure that copies of this document, along with emergency telephone contacts, are distributed to all staff and kept available throughout the activity/visit.
