Knowing how to identify sepsis can save lives. Young people often function normally as an illness develops and then experience a sudden and rapid deterioration.
In recent years two young people have died from sepsis on educational visits. It’s important that your visit leadership team knows how to identify the signs and what to do. We have therefore created a new OEAP National Guidance document, 7.2a Sepsis, with the help of the UK Sepsis Trust.
You can download the new guidance here.
