Coronavirus and Educational Visits
We have updated OEAP National Guidance document 4.4k Coronavirus to reflect the most recent changes in government guidance in both England and Wales. The revised guidance also:
- highlights the fact that the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are not part of the UK and have their own coronavirus regulations;
- provides guidance about when parents, volunteers etc. who do not normally work in the establishment take part in a visit;
- points out that the government’s Risk Protection Arrangement for schools does now have some COVID cover.
We have amended OEAP National Guidance documents 4.2b Residential Visits, 7r Overseas Visits and 7q Overseas Expeditions accordingly, and to reflect the fact that DfE and the Welsh Government no longer advise against residentials or overseas visits.
