Children and Young People should never be unsupervised during a visit.

Time with their peers, away from direct adult supervision, is an important feature of visits, particularly of residentials, and brings many additional learning opportunities for young people.  However, this is the time when many accidents tend to happen, so it needs to be appropriately managed.
